The following terms of business apply to the purchase of goods at www.axel-store.com for delivery in Europe, unless otherwise expressly agreed. The agreement is entered into between you and Axel Kaufmann ApS (“Axel Kaufmann” or “we”).
Orders and payments
www.axel-store.com is open 24 hours per day and consequently, you can shop almost any time. However, the shop may be closed down due to maintenance. You can only make purchases when the shop is open and available.
In order to shop at www.axel-store.com you must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid payment card accepted by us. If you have not yet attained the age of 18, you can still purchase products if you have obtained the consent of your guardian or in another manner have a legal right to make the purchase. You are responsible for providing correct information to Axel Kaufmann.
You select the products you want to buy and add them to the “shopping basket”. Up until the time the order is made you may change the contents of the shopping basket and you may on an ongoing basis check the contents of the basket and the price of the products.
Any additional payments for e.g. freight will not be calculated until immediately before you are ready to pay.
Once you are ready to order, you click “go to basket” where you enter your name, address, email, telephone number, select type of delivery, and enter your payment information.
You may change the contents of your basket right up until the time to confirm your purchase. The purchase is confirmed by clicking the button “Pay now”. Your order is subsequently approved and confirmation will be sent to your via email.

The amount is not charged to the card until the order leaves our warehouse.
All prices are quoted including VAT and other charges. We quote daily prices and would like to point out that the prices may change without notification.
Please note that custom duties and charges may be added if your order is for delivery outside Europe. You must pay for these expenses yourself. Customs rules vary extensively from country to country so we advise you to contact the local customs authorities if you are in doubt.
Shipping and Delivery
Your order is always dispatched in one to three working days. Unless otherwise agreed, we will send all packages using DHL Express and allowing you to track your package.

Receipt of order and order confirmation
When you have ordered a product from us you will get a receipt stating that we have received your order. A binding purchase agreement has not been entered until you have received an order confirmation from us.
Right of cancellation
Exercising the right of cancellation
When you make a purchase at axel-store.com, you have a 30-day right of cancellation calculated from the date you receive the product. If you want to exercise the right of cancellation you must notify us thereof before expiry of the time limit for exercising the right of cancellation.*
The period during which you may exercise your right of cancellation starts on the day you receive the product. If the 30-day period expires on a holiday, Saturday, 24 December (Christmas Eve) or 31 December (New Year’s Eve), the period is extended to expire on the following weekday. (Example: If the product is received on 1 June, the last day on which the right of cancellation may be exercised will be 30 June.
The time limit has been observed if you send your notification on exercise of your right of cancellation before expiry of the time limit.
You may exercise your right of cancellation without stating any specific reason and by communicating your decision to us by ordinary letter or by email.
You may also use the below standard cancellation form if you want to cancel your purchase. We update the return form on an ongoing basis to ensure that it is always in accordance with applicable provisions.

You must return the product without unnecessary delay and no later than 30 days after notifying us that you want to cancel the purchase. However, we do not accept delivery of products returned COD (Cash on delivery), packages sent without postage or packages delivered to parcel shops.
You are liable for the expenses incidental to returning a product when you cancel the purchase.
For customers within the EU: If you wish to, our customer service team can provide you with a DHL Express return label. Just send an e-mail to [email protected] stating your order number and what item(s) you wish to return. When using our return label 30 EUR will be subtracted from the purchase amount as payment for the return shipment.
If the product is to be sent, it must be packaged in a responsible manner. You are responsible for ensuring that the package/product arrives undamaged. Consequently, you should save postal receipts and any track and trace number. Furthermore, we encourage you to enclose a copy of the order confirmation or other documentation of your purchase and to return the product in its original packaging. In addition, it will ease our processing if you fill out the return form.
Products must be returned in a good and undamaged condition. If returned products show signs of damage or use, other than what is required to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product, you will be liable for any loss of value of such product. You may lose the right in full or in part to have the purchase price refunded. We will estimate the value based on a specific assessment of the returned product. As a general rule, the price of products where the packaging (such as shoeboxes) has been lost or is damaged will be reduced by a minimum of 20% and the price of products which have been used or have been damaged in another manner will be reduced by a minimum of 80%.
If you don’t pick up your package and it therefore is sent back to us, we will try to contact you to find out whether the return was a mistake, or you wish to exercise your right of cancellation. If we are unable to contact you using the contact details you provided during the order process, we will treat the order as cancelled and notify you in writing. In this case you are liable for the expenses incidental to returning a product.
If you decide to partial withdraw from the contract in accordance with the above, we will refund the purchase price of the item(s). If you withdraw from the complete contract, we will in addition refund you the originals freight costs.
Payment for the product will be refunded as soon as possible and in any event no later than 14 days after we have received your notification on cancellation. However, we reserve the right to withhold such refund until we have received the product(s) for inspection or until you have supplied evidence of having returned the product, whichever is the earliest.
The amount will always be refunded to the same means of payment which you used to make the purchase. If e.g. you have paid using a payment or credit card, the amount will be refunded to the card you used making the purchase. If you have paid in whole or in part using a gift voucher, we will send you a new gift voucher corresponding to the value of the products you have returned and at a value no higher than what the gift voucher amounts to on the order.
NOTE - You may lose all or a part of your purchase amount. This occurs if the value of the item has decreased as a result of your use of them, because the item has been damaged while you were responsible for it, or because you have handled the item in a way that was not essential for you to determine the nature, characteristics, and the way the item works.
Note that the original packaging, including, for example, a shoebox, may constitute a significant part of the item's value. The depreciation will be determined by Axel-store.com
Please be aware that you are liable for the freight and shipping expenses associated with the shipment, if you choose to receive the item back.
When you buy a product at axel-store.com you have a two-year right to complain. This means that for up to two years after you have received the product, you may have the product repaired, exchanged or you may have a refund or a reduction of the purchase price depending on the situation at hand. Complaints about defects must be notified to us within a reasonable time after such defects have been detected. Where the complaint is made within two months of the detection of the defect such complaint will always be considered to have been made in due time.
Damage to the product caused by accidents, use of the product in an unintentional manner, incorrect use or abuse or other tortious conduct is not covered by the right to complain.

Please state your order number and describe the defect in your product. When we have received your complaint, we will send you shipment packaging and a return label in order for you to return the product to us free of charge. When you return the product, please fill out and enclose the forwarded complaint form. Always ensure to have the enclosed postal receipt stamped and signed at the post office when you hand in the package. This is your proof that the package has been returned to us and in such case, you will not be liable in the event that the package is not received at axel-store.com. We cooperate with Trustpilot, which a consumer review site where customers and potential customers on the basis of reviews can form an impression of what to expect when making purchases at axel-store.com. We strive to continuously improve our service and in order to do that we need the help of our customers. Five days after your purchase, you will consequently receive a request to post your review of us on Trustpilot. You are naturally under no type of obligation in this connection, but we would be grateful if you would share your honest opinion about axel-store.com. Everyone making a purchase at axel-store.com will receive this request and we are unable to block or deselect individual customers. This ensures that everyone has the possibility of sharing their experience and consequently the overall review will be as fair and trustworthy as possible. We appreciate all the reviews we receive and continuously use them internally to assess what we are good at and identify where we need to development and improve our service.
Axel-store.com is not liable for any delays with the postal service. axel-store.com is not liable for any subsequent consequences from using products and services from our website. Axel-store.com is subject to the legislation and rules on product liability in force in Denmark from time to time.
Axel-store.com is not liable in the event of products being out of stock, changes in prices and mistakes, if any. We also want to point out that it may be difficult to represent colours correctly in pictures and that the colour of the product may accordingly vary slightly from the picture.
Value codes issued by Axel-store.com are in the form of a percentage discount or a cash discount. The value code is redeemed prior to payment of your order and may only be redeemed on online purchases and not in the physical shops. You may only redeem one value code per order.
You receive value codes when you are a free-of-charge member of the Axel Kaufmann customer club and you receive the value codes via email or via your customer club account. The value codes are personal and non-transferable.
Unless otherwise indicated, a value code is valid for 60 days from the date of issue. After 60 days, the value of the code will lapse and you will not be entitled to claim a new value code.
If you wish to return an order on which a value code has been deducted, the value of the code will not be refunded. Example: If you buy products for EUR 100 and redeem a value code granting you a 10% discount (in this case EUR 10), the amount returned will be EUR 90 and you will not be entitled to claim a new value code.
If a minimum amount has been indicated for redemption of the value code, the value of the order must be equal to or higher than the minimum amount to be able to redeem the code.
